The 2009 Open Championship - also knows as the British Open golf tournament will be played from July 16 to July 19. It is the 138th playing of the open and will be played at Turnberry in South Ayrshire, Scotland. It will be televised on TNT on Thursday and Friday, July 16 and July 17. On Saturday July 18 and Sunday July 19, the Open will be televised on TNT and ABC.
