Britain To Cut Iraq Force: In a statement form Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Britain has announced a plan to reduce it's troop presence in half by mid-2008. British forces peaked in March 2003, with 46,000 troops, but has steadily declined ever since. There are currently 5,000 British troops stationed in Iraq.
