At least two are dead and several others injured as a major hurricane sweeps through southern Britain and northern France. Extensive damage has been done to the coastline as 110kph winds toppled power-lines, uprooted trees and capsized boats in the region. Bloomberg has reported that the storm may reach north of England and Northern Ireland on March 11, 12. As of March 10, 2008, 230 flights to the region have been canceled and more are expected to come as 21 more were grounded out of London Heathrow Airport on March 11.
