  • Bridget Hayward was the daughter of actress Margaret Sullavan and theatrical agent Leland Hayward. She died in 1960, the same year that her mother died of an overdose. Bridget also died of an overdose, and was found in her Manhattan apartment in October, 1960. Their family's difficulties were profiled in the book Haywire, written by her sister Brooke, and produced as a TV movie by her brother Bill in 1980. Bill Hayward also committed in suicide, in 2008.
