  • Brian Willsie is a professional ice hockey player who currently plays for the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League.
  • Early Years

    Prior to his NHL days Willsie played for the Guelph Storm in the Ontario Hockey League starting in 1995. He was drafted the following year by the Colorado Avalanche, 146th overall in the 1996 NHL Draft. He continued in the OHL for two additional seasons, then joined the Avalanche American Hockey League affiliate, the Hershey Bears in 1998. Willsie made his NHL debut with the Avalanche in 1999, playing parts of three seasons in Colorado. Willsie was then waived and claimed by the Washington Capitals on October 3, 2003.
  • Recent Years

    Willsie returned to the AHL during the 2004-05 NHL Lockout, playing for the Portland Pirates. Following the lockout, Willsie re-signed with the Capitals for one season. After his contract was up he signed with the Los Angeles Kings on July 4, 2006.
