On November 14, 2008, Brian Pugh, the vice president of operations at semiconductor company SiPort Inc., was shot and killed at the company offices in Santa Clara, California. Company CEO Sid Agrawal and a third female victim, who was not immediately identified, were also pronounced dead. The Shooting
Shortly before 4:00 p.m. on November 14, 2008, Jing Hua Wu reportedly entered the SiPort offices and began firing shots. According to Santa Clara police Lieutenant Mike Seller, Wu had been employed as an engineer at SiPort and had lost his job either the morning of the shooting or the previous day.
