Brian McNamee

Brian McNamee is a former assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Toronto Blue Jays and New York Yankees. He testified against Yankees pitcher Roger Clemens during the 2008 United States Congressional hearing on steroid use in Major League Baseball.

In a February 2009 interview with Howard Stern, McNamee discussed his choice to tell federal prosecutors about Roger Clemens' steroid use. He stated that lying was not an option, and "It wasn't worth that risk of that being over my head for six years -- that's the term they have to investigate you and convene a grand jury."ESPN.com: McNamee says telling truth only option
