Brian Kendrick began wrestling in 1999. After training with Shawn Michaels, Kendrick signed with the WWE in 2002. He debuted on WWE television in 2003 and eventually had his first feud with John Cena. Kendrick wrestled on the independent circuit from 2004 to 2005 before returning to the WWE.
