Wide receiver Brian Hartline most recently played college football with the Ohio State Buckeyes in the NCAA.

Hartline was selected 108th overall in the fourth round of the 2009 NFL draft by the Miami Dolphins on April 26, 2009.

After redshirting with the Buckeyes in 2005, Hartline joined the team for his collegiate debut in 2006. He played in 13 games during his freshman season, recording 17 catches for 256 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Hartline's numbers improved in 2007, totaling 52 receptions for 694 yards and six touchdowns. He helped the Buckeyes finish the 2007 season with an 11-1 record to go on to the BCS Championship Game, where they were defeated by the LSU Tigers.
