Brian Grazer is an American film and television producer who won an Academy Award for the 2001 film A Beautiful Mind. He has produced a number of other successful films including Changeling, Apollo 13 and The Da Vinci Code. He has also been involved in television with shows such as Arrested Development and 24.
According to TMZ in May of 2009, Grazer and wife Gigi are divorcing. In the divorce settlement, Grazer was ordered to pay Gigi a one time payment of $4.5 million, $8.75 million for the amount owed on a piece of property, $40,000 a month in child support and Gigi's attorneys' fees of $488,977. Brief Biography
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Brian Grazer attended film school at the University of Southern California. In 1978, he produced his first television show called Zuma Beach. He has since been responsible for 39 Oscars and 27 Emmy nominations. In 2001, Grazer earned the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Producers Guild of America. Grazer has been involved, through his production company Imagine Entertainment, with such projects as Frost/Nixon, Angels & Demons and Friday Night Lights.
