Brian Gegner

Brian Gegner of Fairfield, Cincinnati was given a 180 day jail sentence for "contributing to the delinquency of a minor."

In 2007, his daughter's history of truancy compelled a judge to order Gegner to make sure that she passed the test. When his daughter, Brittany Gegner, failed the test the sentence was handed down to her dad.

"Brittany is almost 19 years old now and I think it's unfair to put her father in jail. She's an adult now, and it's not right to rip an innocent man from his home. They probably should have punished me if they were going to punish anybody, Because she did live with me at the time, but because he had the custody, that's why he's being punished. But I don't understand the punishment altogether because she's going to school, she's been going for four months.
