    Brian Mannion Dennehy was born in Bridgeport, Conneticut on July 9, 1938. Dennehy attended high school at Chaminade High School in New York City and then continued his education at Columbia University and then Yale University. He first garned national attention for his role as Sheriff Will Teasle in the hit film First Blood. He has since appeared in such hit films as Cocoon, F/X, Presumed Innocent and Tommy Boy. In 1999, he won the Tony Award and in 2000, he won the Golden Globe award for his portrayal as Wily Loman in the Arthur Miller classic Death of a Salesman. He has done voice work for the animated films Everyone's Hero and the Pixar hit film Ratatouille. In 2008, he appeared opposite Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino in the police drama Righteous Kill.
