On April 4, 2009, Brian Dawkins announced that he will give two free tickets to Dan Leone when the Broncos play the Eagles in 2009. Leone lost his part time job as West gate chief at Lincoln financial field when he posted a message on his facebook account. College Football Career
Prior to playing in the NFL, Dawkins played college football with the Clemson Tigers. He recorded 247 tackles and 11 interceptions to earn All-American honors. Dawkins made his professional debut with the Eagles in 1996, playing in 14 regular season games. Continuing with the Eagles for a total of 13 seasons, Dawkins earned his first of seven Pro Bowl selections in 1999, playing in the Pro Bowl again in 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2008.
