Early Life
Brian Lee Cardinal was born in Tolono, Illinois, on May 2, 1977, and he went on to attend Unity High School. He continued his education at Purdue University. In 2000, Cardinal was selected by the Detroit Pistons with the 44th pick in the NBA draft.Basketball-Reference.com: Brian CardinalPro Career
In his first season with the Pistons, Cardinal appeared in 15 games. His best season was in the 2003 - 2004 campaign with the Golden State Warriors. In that season, Cardinal averaged 9.6 points and 4.2 rebounds in 76 games.
