  • Brian Campbell is a Canadian professional hockey player, currently playing for the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League. Campbell was traded from the Buffalo Sabres to the Sharks on February 26, 2008.
  • Career Highlights

    Campbell began his career with the Ottawa 67's in the Ontario Hockey League in 1995. He was then drafted 156th overall in the 1997 NHL Draft by the Buffalo Sabres. Campbell joined the Sabres' American Hockey League affiliate, the Rochester Americans in 1999, shortly after leaving the OHL as the top defenseman and MVP. Also in 1999, he made his NHL debut, playing 12 games with the Sabres. In 2007, Campbell was selected for his first NHL All-Star Game.
