  • Early Career

    Boucher began his career with the Tri-City Americans in the Western Hockey League in 1994. He was then drafted 22nd overall in the 1995 NHL draft by the Philadelphia Flyers. In 1997, Boucher joined the Philadelphia Phantoms in the American Hockey League, a Flyers' affiliate. He made his NHL debut with the Flyers two years later in the 1999-00 regular season.
  • Recent Career

    On June 12, 2002, Boucher was traded to the Phoenix Coyotes. He played over two seasons in Phoenix before he was traded to the Calgary Flames on February 1, 2006. Boucher played just three games with the Flames, then entered free agency after the regular season. He signed with the Chicago Blackhawks on September 24, 2006. Just before the trade deadline, the Blackhawks waived Boucher, and he was picked up by the Columbus Blue Jackets on February 27, 2007. He entered free agency again after season, signing with the Flyers to a minor league contract. Boucher played 42 games with his old team, the Philadelphia Phantoms, then signed with the San Jose Sharks on February 26, 2008 to a one year contract. He finished the 2007-08 regular season backing up veteran Sharks goaltender Evgeni Nabokov.
