Death Threats
According to reports, California man Kenneth Samuels was arrested on April 11, 2009, after calls placed to the Pedroia's family store were traced back to him. In the calls, Samuels made death threats, saying he would shoot and kill the men in the family. Baseball Career
Like his younger brother, Pedroia played baseball. He broke his ankle while a high school catcher. He recovered and played ball in college, making the team at Shasta Junior College in California.
