    Brett Favre was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in 1991. A year later, he was traded to play behind Don Majkowski as the second-string quarterback for the Green Bay Packers.     In 2008, Favre reconsidered his initial retirement, returned to the league and was traded to the New York Jets. He led the Jets to a 9-7 season in 2008, just missing the NFL Playoffs.
