  • Brett Clark is a professional hockey player originally from Canada. He currently plays for the Colorado Avalanche in the National Hockey League.
  • Career Highlights

    Prior to playing in the NHL, Clark played for the University of Maine. He was drafted 154th overall in the 1996 NHL Draft by the Montreal Canadiens. He joined the Canadians for his NHL debut in 1997, splitting the season between the NHL and the Canadiens American Hockey League affiliate, the Fredericton Canadiens. On June 25, 1999, Clark was selected by the Atlanta Thrashers in the NHL expansion draft. He played 44 games over three seasons in Atlanta then was traded to the Colorado Avalanche on January 24, 2002. In 2007, Clark played his 300th career NHL game. Most recently, in February of 2008, he dislocated his shoulder and was out for the rest of the season.
