  • After seeing a group of homeless people on his way home from a doctor's appointment, terminally ill eleven-year-old Brendan Foster became determined to help feed them. Foster was bedridden and to weak to help the homeless himself, but friends and neighbors took up his cause and volunteered to make sandwiches for hungry Seattle residents.
