  • Flight 3054 on TAM Linhas Aereas crashed on July 17, 2007 while landing at Sao Paulo. Heavy rain apparently caused the plane to overrun the runway. The plane then overran a nearby expressway and crashed into a TAM Express warehouse, where it exploded. Sao Paulo fire authorities report over 200 deaths.
