Brandt Snedeker is a professional golfer on the PGA Tour. Snedeker won the U.S. Amateur Public Links in 2003 before turning professional in 2004. He earned a spot on the PGA Tour in 2007 after winning the Showdown at Somerby and the Permian Basin Charity Golf Classic. During his rookie season on the PGA Tour, Snedeker shot a course record of 61 in the first round of the Buick Invitational, leading to a third place finish overall. He entered 29 PGA Tour events in 2007, making 23 cuts, one win, a third place finish, six top 10 finishes, and 13 top 25 finishes. His performance during 2007 earned him the PGA Tour Rookie of the Year.
