AWOL (Absent Without Official Leave) U.S. Army soldier Brandon Tyler Schein was arrested on April 19, 2008 and charged with robbing three homes in [[Olympia, Washington. The 22 year old soldier went missing after returning from a 15 month combat mission in Iraq. A platoon sergeant said he had been suffering from post traumatic stress disorder since his return.
Schein was arrested after the police received reports of burglaries in the area. One woman came face to face with the suspect. Three officers tried to subdue Schein, who was found with a loaded .38 caliber revolver in his waistband. He was tasered during the arrest.
