Brandon T. Jackson is an actor and comedian who plays Alpa Chino in the 2008 film Tropic Thunder.
Jackson grew up in Detroit, Michigan, where he started performing stand-up at comedy clubs at the age of 14. After landing roles in big name movies such as Ali and 8 Mile, Jackson made his way to Los Angeles, California, to take his career to the next level. His supporting role in the film Roll Bounce led to his audition for Tropic Thunder.
