Brandon Bass was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and was born on April 30th, 1985. Brandon has one son named Brandon jr. and has a nickname of B-Bass. His favorite food is red beans and rice. Some of his hobbies include relaxing and watching TV when he is not at the courts. Brandon Bass is known for a professional basketball player in the NBA. Brandon played is high school basketball for Capital High School in Baton Rouge. After his senior year in high school he was one of the most highly recruited played in the country. Bass ended up playing for LSU were he became a force playing the power forward position. Brandon Bass entered the NBA draft after his first year at LSU but withdrew and returned for a second year. Brandon Bass 2008-09 Season
In the 2008-2009 season, Brandon Bass played for the Dallas Mavericks. The team went 50-32 and finished third in the southwest division. Highlights of the season are Jason Terry’s sixth man award, winning 50 games and getting into the playoffs. Brandon played in 81 games for Dallas and averaged 8.5 points per game, 4.5 rebounds all in just under 20 minutes a game. All of this with an 1.59 million dollar contract. Brandon Bass stayed healthy all season and was one of the most productive on the team, leading the team in free throws and 19th overall in the league. Also he was a force in the paint, blocking at least one shot for 41 games of the season.
