Brandan Keith Wright was born in Nashville, Tennessee on October 5, 1987. He attended high school at Brentwood Academy. He continued his education at the University of North Carolina. After the Draft, Wright was traded to the Golden State Warriors for Jason Richardson and Jermareo Davidson. In his first season with the Warriors, Wright appeared in 38 games and averaged 4 points and 9.9 minutes per game.
