Brand Nubian is a rap and hip-hop group featuring rappers Grand Puba, Sadat X, and Lord Jamar. The group released their debut album One For All in 1990 which included popular singles such as "Wake Up" and "Slow Down". Brand Nubian is known for its socially conscious and politically charged content inspired by the teachings of the "Five-Percent Nation". Despite this, the group has received positive reviews throughout their music career.
