Braid Xbox 360 Cheats

This page provides links to cheats for the 2D side-scrolling platform game Braid. The game's protagonist, Tim, travels through six different worlds, each ruled by a different set of natural laws.

Development on Braid was begun in 2006 by the independent company Number None Inc., which is headed by Jonathan Blow. Web comic author David Hellman contributed his artistic design to the game's environment and background.

• Unlock Alternate Ending Sequence
  • Collect all seven hidden star icons in the game to unlock the final secret star in the last level. Some switches in the final level will then no longer be affected by manipulating time. This allows the final star to be collected to view the alternate ending.
• Unlock World 1 and Epilogue
  • Locate the sixty puzzle pieces and successfully complete each jigsaw puzzle in every World. Once this is accomplished, the broken ladder leading to the attic where levels are selected is fixed. Climb the ladder and enter the doorway to access World 1 and complete the World to view the Epilogue. The Epilogue can be revisited by entering the hidden alcove on the left side of the title screen.
• Hidden Epilogue Journal Text
  • Each room in the Epilogue except the last contains objects you can stand behind. Open the red journal and display the text. Stand behind one of the objects. If performed correctly, you will hear a sound and the hidden text will display. If you open the green book, the red book will close and the text will disappear. Time manipulation then needs to be used in order to view all four hidden texts.
    • Room 1: Read the red book. Find the hidden book with the scream.
    • Room 2: Drop down. Read the red book. Use time manipulation to rewind up to the left hand ledge. Walk behind the scenery until you hear the sound again.
    • Room 3: Read the red book. Enter the next room. Stand on the left side of the green platform. Use time manipulation to rewind until you hear the green book close. Re-enter the third room. Move behind the rock.
    • Room 4: Hit the switch. The green platform rises. Hit the switch again to lower it. Stand on the red book. Use time manipulation to rewind so that the platform moves up while you are on it. Run off the left of the platform. Look behind the rock for the sound.
• Prototype Game
  • Rewind the game for ten minutes in World Two to regress the game into a prototype. Rewind for an additional ten minutes to display the game's original design document.
