Braid is a puzzle/action/2D platformer-style video game released for the Xbox Live Arcade on August 6, 2008. Reminiscent of Super Mario Bros., players solve physical puzzles throughout seven worlds on a quest to save a princess. The game is filled with hand-drawn 2D graphics supplied by David Hellman through a far-away camera, similar to the graphics in Lode Runner. In addition, the game makes different use of time in each world, giving players the ability to reverse time and rewind actions.
The PC version was released on April 10, 2009.Destructoid: The PC version of Braid delayed until April 10 (March 28, 2009)
