Boys Like Girls

Boys Like Girls is a rock band from Massachusetts that was formed in 2005. When all of the members got together, they created an account on PureVolume and soon became number one on the Top Unsigned Artists chart on the website. Their self titled debut album was released on August 22, 2006 by Columbia Records and RED Distribution. The album was certified Gold by the RIAA for selling over 500,000 copies. In 2007, Boys Like Girls played for the first time at the Vans Warped Tour. In 2008, the band opened up for Avril Lavigne.
