Bowling For Soup is a Grammy Award nominated pop/punk four piece band from Texas. The band was formed in 1994 and is named after Steve Martin's "Bowling For Sh**" bawls from the 1978 comedy album "Wild and Crazy Guy". Bowling For Soup's self titled debut album was released in 1995. There is only 3,000 copies of this album in existence and extremely hard to get a copy. Their fourth album, Let's Do It for Johnny! was their major label debut. It was released by Jive Records.
