Bourbon Whiskey

Bourbon Whiskey is America's only native spirit and was named a "distinctive product of the United States" by U.S. Congress in 1964.

How It's Made

  1. A mash of corn, malted barley and other grains such as rye and or wheat are fermented using a sour mash fermentation process.
  2. The mash is distilled, which produces a clear spirit.
  3. The spirit is poured into charred oak barrels and allowed to age for at least two years.
  4. The aged liquor is diluted with water, bottled and sold.
