Curse of the Bambino
Boston has been long haunted by the alleged "Curse of the Bambino". Fans half-jokingly blamed the team's championship losses after 1920 on the team's trade of Babe Ruth to the New York Yankees. After the Red Sox won the 2004 World Series, the curse was declared dead and buried.Rivalry
