Boris Johnson

After graduating from the University of Oxford in 1986, Johnson began his journalism career. He worked for The Times, the Daily Telegraph and The Spectator. In 1997, Johnson was selected as the “What the Papers Say” Political Commentator of the Year. Johnson took his first political office in 2001 when he was elected as the Conservative member of Parliament for Henley-on-Thames. Starting in 2003, Johnson was the vice-chairman of the Conservative Party for just over a year.
