Boris Diaw

  • Boris Diaw is a French basketball player who plays small forward for the Charlotte Bobcats in the NBA. Before joining the NBA, Diaw played for Pau Orthez, France's top league team.
  • NBA Career

    Diaw was drafted in 2003 by the Atlanta Hawks with the 21st pick. He played there for two seasons until he was traded to the Phoenix Suns in 2005. Diaw became a well rounded player and displayed his versatility by being able to play any position from center to point guard. He was also named the NBA Most Improved Player trophy in 2006.

    While Diaw is a natural small forward, his passing skills and scoring ability allow him to play virtually any position on the floor. His versatility has made him a valuable asset to the Suns, who utilized him to help cover for injured players over recent years.
