The Zombie Island of Dr Ned is the first downloadable content for the game Borderlands, developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K Games.

This is the video and text walkthrough for the Night of the Living Ned mission. The player will confront with Dr.Ned and put an end at his experiments.

Assassinate Dr.Ned for the Jakobs Corporation.

1. Once inside the area, turn left and go down. Kill the zombies that are there.
2. Head north. You will soon encounter a small group of Wereskags. They move fast so aim well for their head. Use a Fire weapon to let them burn.
3. Continue to find a checkpoint. You can see a factory in the horizon. Go down and fight the zombies.
4. Progress north until you find the entrance of the lumber mill.
5. Get in the corridor. At the end of it, you can see a Tankenstein running. Move slowly and use a sniper to shot the barrel on its back. A lot of zombies will come to you, from behind too. Retreat out of the lumber mill and kill them one by one. 
6. The Tankenstein is sometimes stuck behind the door and cannot damge you. Use this oppurtunity to shoot it in the head. Don't use electricity as it will gets its life back.
7. Get in the courtyard of the mill and head north-east.
8. You will be attacked by a group of Wereskags. Defeat them and turn right. Kill the zombies and turn right again to find the entrance of the mill. Get in.
9. Once inside, buy ammo and health and go north through the office.
10. Kill the zombies as you move through the building.
11. You will finally meet Dr.Ned. He is quite simple, don't stop shooting, and stay in cover when he is firing at you.
12. But, during the end credits, the doctor comes back, as an undead.
13. To get to him, fall in the hole before the saw. You will find a cave. Follow the path that goes deep underground.
14. You will find a lake of blood and Dr.Ned Undead will appear. Shoot his head and let him come to you. When he is near, throw your grenade and run to the other cave across from where you are. There is an entrance for Jakobs Cove. Stay there and use a sniper rifle to shoot at Dr.Ned. If you're lucky, he sometimes get stuck and the fight is just a piece of cake.
15. Ned will call on his zombie minions for help, though not as many as you'd think. Take down any zombie enemies that get too close, keep your distance from Ned as best you can, and pick away at him from afar
    
16. Once Dr.Ned defeated, you can admire the real end credits.
17. Loot him and go west to find the exit.
18. Open the bridge gate to complete the mission.
