The Boonie Hat Bandit is the name given to 44-year-old confessed bank robber Donald Keith Giammanco. On September 19, 2008, the Florissant, Missouri man confessed to 12 bank robberies in the St. Louis area. At two of those robberies, he was captured on video wearing a military-style "Boonie" hat.
