Boom Blox Bash Party

  • Boom Blox Bash Party is a game for the Nintendo Wii and the sequel to the 2008 game Boom Blox. In the game players compete in a variety of single and multi-player modes built around physics-based block games that utilize motion control. Players swing the Wii Remote to throw balls and towers made of blocks, or compete in Jenga-esque games where they have to remove blocks without making structures collapse. The sequel has twice the number of game types and adds a new online sharing mode for user-created levels.
  • New Features

Boom Blox Bash Party adds a number of new features to Boom Blox. One of the biggest upgrades comes to the Create Mode, in which players can make their own custom levels and share them online. In the first game, the capability to share and download was limited. You could online send stages to or download stages from people on your friends list. In Boom Blox Bash Party, there is an online community built into the game where anyone can upload and download stages from anyone else.

Other new features include new block types, more multiplayer modes including team-based gametypes, new tools like the slingshot, cannon and paintball, and more variety in stages like stages set underwater or in zero-gravity environments. Electronic Arts claims that there are over 400 new stages in Boom Blox Bash Party.
