Bono

Bono, whose real name is Paul David Hewson, is the lead singer of the Irish rock band U2.

Bono and U2 guitarist The Edge were involved in writing the music and lyrics for Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark, the Broadway debut of the Marvel comics superhero, Spider-Man'. In March 2009, Bono called Coldplay's Chris Martin a "wanker" and "cretin" during a radio interview with the BBC's Radio 1. The show's host, Jo Whiley, immediately demanded Bono apologize for his comments. He reportedly told Whiley, "I'm a reformed character, I don't do that any more".
