Bonnie Somerville is an American actress and singer. She was born on February 24, 1974 in Brooklyn, New York. Somerville became interested in acting at a young age and took part in her high school plays. Upon graduation, she attended Boston College where she majored in musical theater. Along with acting, Somerville is a very talented singer and has been a member of several bands. She is currently a member of the charity band called "Band From TV" in which the proceeds from their performances go to various charities. In 2004, Somerville became romantically linked to actor Zach Braff. They have since split.
Acting Career
Somerville made her acting debut in the film City Hall in 1996. In 1999, she starred in the miniseries titled Shake, Rattle and Roll: An American Love Story. In 2000, she landed the role of Courtney Scott in the series Grosse Pointe. From there, she has appeared in Friends, In Laws, The O.C. and Without a Paddle. Her more recent works include NYPD Blue, Kitchen Confidential, Cashmere Mafia and Shades of Ray.
