Bonnie Hunt is an American actress, comedian, director and producer. She was born on September 22, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois. Hunt was a cancer nurse and worked at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago in 1982. In 1988, Hunt married banker John Murphy. The couple later divorced. Her self-titled talk show premiered in early September of 2008.
Career
In 1984, Hunt co-founded an improvisational comedy troupe called An Impulsive Thing. In 1993, Hunt and David Letterman produced the sitcom The Building. Hunt and Letterman worked together once again in 1995 on The Bonnie Hunt Show. From there, Hunt went on to play in the films Rain Man, Beethoven, Dave, Jumanji, Jerry Maguire and The Green Mile. In 2002, Hunt played on the television show Life with Bonnie. Her more recent works include Cheaper by the Dozen, Cheaper by the Dozen 2, From Hair To Eternity and I Want Someone to Eat Cheese With.
