Bon Jovi

Bon Jovi is a rock band from Sayreville, New Jersey, led by lead singer and occasional actor, Jon Bon Jovi. Bon Jovi formed in 1983, with band members Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, David Bryan, Alec John Such and Tico Torres. Such left the band in 1994, but the remainder of the band has remained the same for 25 years.

Bon Jovi performed at the 2010 American Music Awards on Sunday, November 21, 2010. The band performed a medley of their greatest hits which included; "What Do You Got", "You Give Love a Bad Name" and "It's My Life".http://idolator.com/5696122/2010-american-music-awards-the-liveblog Throughout the years, Bon Jovi has won a multitude of awards including an MTV Video Music Award, American Music Awards, a World Music Award, a MTV Europe Music Award, two My VH1 Music Awards, a Chopard Diamond Award, two CMT Music Awards, a People's Choice Award, and a Grammy Award. Bon Jovi was also inducted into the UK Hall of Fame in 2006. However, they were not eligible for the U.S. equivalent for 2009.

American Idol

During the sixth season of American Idol, Jon Bon Jovi appeared on the show as a guest mentor. One of the highlights of the night was Blake Lewis's rendition of "You Give Love a Bad Name."
