On March 3, 2008, Bolt Bus began selling tickets for its Washington, DC to New York City route for as low as $1 each way (plus a $0.50 booking fee). They are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and will gradually increase in price as seats fill, maxing at $25. On March 10, the company announced a Boston to New York City route for the same prices. BoltBus, a subsidiary of Greyhound Lines, will start its DC--NYC service on March 27, 2008. The Boston--NYC schedule is still being finalized as of this typing.
