Plot Synopsis
Boiler Room stars Giovanni Ribisi as Seth Green - an ambitious college dropout running his own illegal casino operation out of his apartment. Seth is recruited to join J.T. Marlin, an investment firm promising huge payouts to its floor of stock brokers. Eager to please his father and lured by the promise of wealth, Seth joins J.T. Marlin where he excels at selling stock through cold calls. As he rises up the ranks of the company, Seth begins to earn the respect of his father and the approval of his superiors.
