Bohnanza is a card game that is made by Rio Grande games. It was created by Uwe Rosenberg--the creator of other popular games such as Agricola and Le Havre. The artists who created the cartoonish world of the bean crop cards include Klemens Franz, Atelier Löwentor, and Björn Pertoft. The game is made to be played by two to seven players. http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/11/bohnanza
The gameplay concept is based on the world of bean farming. Each player during his or her turn collects bean cards and "plants" them into unseen "bean fields". It is up to each player to decide when it is most advantageous and profitable to harvest the beans before the bean market goes bust. The winner is the player who collects the most amount of money from their work bean farming. The average game can be played in about 45 minutes.http://www.riograndegames.com/games.html?id=36
Originally, the game was published in German, but has since been published in multiple other languages, including English. Many expansions have been created for the original Bohnanza game, many of which greatly alter the gameplay dynamic of the first card swapping boom-or-bust game. The expanding titles include: Mutabohn, Bohnanza Erweiterungs-Set, La Isla Bohnitâ, High Bohn, Bohnanza Erweiterungs, High Bohn: Bohnenduell um 12 Uhr mittags, Ladybohn, High Bohn Plus, Bohnaparte, Dschingis Bohn, Bohnanza Counters, Bohnanza: Amigo Bohnentaler, Bohnröschen, Telebohn, Auf der schwäb'schen Eisenbohn, and Bohnanza: Spiderbeans.http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/11/bohnanza

Bohnanza Game
In this video, an un-narrated game of Bohnanza is demonstrated with one person taking on the roles of both players. Though a seemingly comical take on playing boardgames, the video serves to illustrate the basic gameflow of Bohnanza and gives viewers a look at the cards that are used to play the game.
