Body wash is a product used to cleanse the skin. It is similar to a liquid soap, removing dirt and germs from the skin. Various formulas are available to assist with dry skin or other skin problems.

- May be applied with the hands or a washcloth.
- Using a washcloth or other bath aide will work better to get a good lather and scrub away dead skin cells.
- Body wash is normally better at moisturizing than a normal bar of soap because many contain a lotion or oils.
- Body wash should not be applied to the face as it may cause drying or clog pores on the sensitive skin.
