Human remains were found on the southbound lanes of Interstate 45, the Gulf Freeway outside of Houston, Texas during rush hour on December 21, 2007. Investigators speculate that an unidentified male was struck by oncoming traffic in the early morning hours, while trying to cross the highway. Traffic was stopped while the medical examiner's office combed the 1/4 mile evidence field.
