Body For Life is a twelve-week body transformation program designed by Bill Phillips. Phillips is the founder of EAS, a company that sells nutritional products. Phillips promises you will more likely stay on a diet and workout if it gives fast results. He promises the best body ever if you follow the program correctly. His best-selling book about the Body for Life program has testimonials of those who underwent amazing transformations.
The Body for Life program isn't just about weight loss. It also involves a tough aerobics and weight training routine. During the twelve weeks, you concentrate on weight-training three days a week, and aerobics three days a week. The lower body exercises focus on hamstrings, calves, and quadriceps. The upper body exercises focus on back, shoulders, biceps, and chest. You alternate weight-training sessions with aerobics. Aerobics routines must be at least 20 minutes and weight-training sessions 45 minutes. The workout may be too intense for beginners.
The Body for Life program also holds and annual competition called The Body for Life Challenge. Competitors write about their experiences and send before and after photos to EAS. The winners receive various amounts of prize money.
