  • WWE Career

Lashley's size, strength and speed made him one of the most popular WWE wrestlers of his time.

He mainly wrestled on SmackDown!, feuding with Finlay and Booker T before winning the United States Championship from JBL in May 2006. In a surprise move, Lashley was drafted to the ECW brand in November of that year, winning the World Championship the next month.

Despite successful title defenses against the likes of Big Show and Mr. Kennedy, Lashley's most memorable bout is perhaps the "Hair versus Hair" match at WrestleMania 23. Representing Donald Trump, Lashley faced Umaga, who fought for WWE owner Vince McMahon. Should either man lose, the "billionaire" they represented would have to get their head shaved.

With the help of referee Stone Cold Steve Austin, Lashley pinned Umaga, and later joined Trump in shaving the hair off McMahon's head.

Lashley was released from the WWE in February 2008 while he was rehabbing from an injury.
