Bobby Deol was born in Mumbai, India. He is the son of legendary actor Dharmendra, and his brother is actor Sunny Deol.He got his start in films at the age of ten and made his debut as a leading actor years later in the film Barsaat, which was directed by Rajkumar Santoshi.
His first starring appearance alongside his brother Sunny was in 1999's Dillagi. He has played a variety of roles and in 2008 he is set to star in Dostana.
